The original Indian cooking pots we have are usually sized between 90cm and 160cm in diameter. These pits a super thick, rustic and are truly original pieces. The large pits at 160cm are often used on acreage or in wineries and create the most amazing ambience in a large space.
We also stock reproduction Indian cooking pots which are mostly sized at 80cm. Competitively priced, this size of firepit will suit most back yards and create super fires to stand around on a cool night.
Corten steel firepits are also available at Mornington Garden Supplies and these have a rusty look. They come in a variety of different sizes from 75cm through to 120cm in diameter and two main styles. We stock corten Indian Kadai firepits which offer a more traditional look together with corten bowl-style pits with a more simple and modern vibe.
All our firepits are sold with a stand and also a bag of washed sand to put in the bottom of the firepit before lighting it. The sand helps to insulate the pit, protecting your grass or pavers underneath and also protecting the firepit itself from the elements.
At Mornington Garden Supplies we are proud of our selection. At home, we use our firepit to cook on, sit by or just light for some calming ambience at the end of a hard week! We have had some amazing evenings sitting by the firepit with friends and family. They make very popular gifts – especially for dad, pa or another man in your life!
